This photo was taken after being sent through the washing machine.The "before" washing machine picture was deemed by the AP to be too gruesome to publish.
Being a novice surgeon and unfamiliar with this particular type of patient, Cael's mom was only able to do an amateur patch job. We're hoping it holds out.

Oh my gosh, a very sad day. I remember patching Marty's blankie 100's of times, it was a crochet blankie. I am not sure he even new the difference, love out ways the damage. Good job, Allie. Praying for the family and now will add blankie!

So sorry to hear of Green Blankie's tragic calamity. No doubt this will be just the first of many battle scars. All will add character, and none will detract from devotion!
