A Very Spooky Playdate

Cael had his first playdate today. Yes, I am aware that he's 18 months old and should have had a zillion by now, but I'm antisocial. He may enjoy playing with other babies but that means I have to play with other moms! Yikes.

Eight toddlers in all, from 10 months (?) to 18 months. Cael is the oldest by a few weeks. There was an attempt at getting all of them to sit in a line for a picture, but you can imagine how well that went.


Oh noes! Someone knocked over the ladybug!


Cael actually did pretty well sitting in place for pictures, but it was mostly because his socks came off and he spent the entire time trying to put them back on.

In attendance were two ladybugs, a princess/fairy, a lamb, a dinosaur, a cheerleader, Princess Leia (who refused to wear her bun wig), and Cael. Cael was too cool for a full costume and came instead as the older, more responsible boy who just wears a Halloween tshirt and jeans. What can I say? He's a rebel.
