Finn decided I needed a birthday interview too, so he conducted one... or part of one. He accidentally hit the "stop" button on the phone while I was still talking. Possibly it was a subconscious desire to go play basketball instead of sit and talk to his mom. I considered editing it so that it had a more appropriate ending but really, this is pretty telling about my life so it feels like it should...

Pre 8k run! All smiles.
Dec is ready to go!
Cael's age category was 14 and under -- and he came in 6th! That made him in the top 3% for his age category and the top 5% overall out of 3,300 racers!
Declan did not enjoy himself the entire time and came in the end crying, so -- pretty par for the course as far as Declan running in races go.
These guys opted in for the post-race photo!
