Awesome 3 at the Awesome 3000
Cael finished in first place for fifth grade boys, finishing his 2k in 8 minutes (and half a second)!
Finn was in 16th place, with a time of 9 minutes and 24 seconds!
Dec fell five times and stopped to wait for a friend, but still finished 86/120. Go, B!!
We've come a long way from the days where our boys would finish last and finish crying :D

Shamrock Run
Pre 8k run! All smiles.
Dec is ready to go!
Cael's age category was 14 and under -- and he came in 6th! That made him in the top 3% for his age category and the top 5% overall out of 3,300 racers!
Declan did not enjoy himself the entire time and came in the end crying, so -- pretty par for the course as far as Declan running in races go.
These guys opted in for the post-race photo!
