Hide and Seek and Seek and Seek
After two years of shouting "You're not supposed to find me!" and crying at the end of every game, it's official: Cael has won Hide and Seek.
He hid so well that after upwards of ten minutes searching, both Ryan and I were convinced he had slipped outside the house. We started getting worried and had to run around yelling for him to come out.
When he finally did, he emerged from behind the ironing board... less than two feet from where I'd been folding laundry while Ryan and Finn went hunting.
I'm not sure if this means I fail at parenting or if Cael wins at childhood.
Finn, on the other hand, still has us put him in a hiding spot and make sure he's totally covered. Then, after we count to ten, he waits about three seconds before shouting, "I'M BEHIND THE COUCH! COME FIND ME!"
