Favorite stuffed animal: Baby (but not really fond of animals in general - not like his brothers were)
Favorite show: Bubble Guppies (the only show he'll watch)
Favorite toy: whatever Finn is playing with
Favorite hobby: whatever his brothers are doing, tackle, peeing outside, washing dishes, making "dinner" with play doh
Favorite time of day: all day
Favorite thing to say:  "Uppy", "play tackle!", "check for amers!"
Likes: being with his brothers, doing big boy things, being naked, being superman/batman in his pajamas all day long every day, tackling
Dislikes: nap time, bed time, clipping nails, shower time
Milestones: totally potty trained - out of diapers during the day and night and nap because when he goes he goes all in
other: every night he makes us check for animals ("amers") outside to make sure they won't come get him while he's in bed, he would play tackle all day every day if he could, he will not walk anywhere ever and is always carried, sometimes Ryan and I will wake up in the morning and he'll be in bed with us and we have no idea when he came upstairs

Despite a great deal of trepidation (read: tears, screaming, hysterics) in the weeks leading up to this moment, Cael was excited and positive this morning.  He was a champ!  Before he and Ryan left to walk to school, Cael gave Finn a hug and told him a 'secret.'  He whispered, "I had a good summer with you, Finn."  And Finn whispered back, "I had a good summer with you, too."

... and that's when I started crying.
